Forster Flies a Kite in Afghanistan

Marc Forster will direct an adaptation of the book "The Kite Runner".for Dream Works.
The Monster's Ball director, one of the men to blame for Halle Berry's Oscar, will be filming the movie in Afghanistan.

"The Kite Runner", written by David Benioff (who first gained notoriety as the scribe of Spike Lee's fantastic 2002 film 'The 25th Hour') is based on the best-selling Khaled Hosseini

The movie revolves around an Afghan who returns to his home country while it's under Taliban rule. There, he tries to right a wrong from his past while rescuing the son of a childhood friend.
