The development team at Warhorse Studios says that it is working on a new Medieval role-playing game. This will use an entirely new game engine and will probably be launched on the next generation of home consoles from Sony and Microsoft, as well as powerful gaming PCs.

Daniel Vavra, a former producer on the Mafia games, is now one of the developers in charge of the new title at Workhorse Studios and apparently the new game is still a few years away, with launch currently set for 2014 or even 2015.

Apparently, the footage was created using a highly modified version of the same engine that powers Crysis 3.

A lot of research has gone into the new project until now and the developers want to offer a modern role-playing experience that uses an open world and delivers high quality graphics.
