14 DAY TRIAL // Richard Michael Barnes, former deputy mayor of London, is blaming hackers for pictures of a man’s private parts posted on his Facebook account.
Barnes’ Facebook fans were outraged by the selfies, the Trending Central reports.
“[It was] utterly and totally a mistake. I’ve been hacked into. I’ve no idea [what happened]. I’m annoyed and shaking with anger,” the politician told the Metro. “I’m a 65-year-old gay man on his own. It’s not the sort of thing I do. Do you really think I would be that [expletive] stupid after 30 years in politics?”
On the other hand, some say this might not have been the work of hackers.
Paul Staines, aka Guido Fawkes, says that iPhones automatically upload pictures to Facebook after being upgraded to iOS 7. I haven’t found anyone to confirm that this is accurate.
