Some crimes can be hidden, but truth comes out eventually, and that's precisely what happened with the bribes taken by some former Foxconn workers.

Well, that's what the Taipei District Prosecutors Office believes at any rate.

The Office has brought up charges against a group of former suppliers and employees of Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn Electronics), who are believed to have accepted bribes and basically engaged in collective corruption.

The defendants are former senior executives and workers from the surface mount technology (SMT) committee.

The case has been building for an entire year actually, but only after a raid by the police on the offices and residences of the suspects finally kicked things off. The raid was held on January 21.

There are six suspects in total, including former Foxconn Engineering Department Manager Yu Chi-an, Manager and Secretary-General of the SMT committee Deng Chih-hsien, and Senior iPad Production Manager Chen Chih-chuan.
