Former Associate Claims Nelly Is Broke, Addicted to Cocaine and Steroids

A new war of words broke on Twitter, after a former associate of rapper Nelly, called Slim, went online to claim that he knew for a fact that Nelly was broke and had problems with drug and steroid use, and gambling. Nelly responded to call Slim a liar.

It all started when Slim took to his Twitter to make a series of allegations about Nelly, as MediaTakeOut can prove with screencaps.

Among other things, Slim claimed Nelly had spent his fortune on women (Ashanti in particular), drugs, steroids and gambling.

Slim even said that he knew all this because he’d been Nelly’s manager until not long ago, when he was fired because he’d signed the rapper to perform at a basketball game.

“at the end of the day u still my brotha..but the #PILLS and #gambling turned u into a [expletive]-ed up nigga..but u been gettn away w/ [expletive] too long..you [expletive]n up a lot of ppl lives thats close to u..wake up nigga!” Slim tweeted after making those outrageous claims.

He also said that he had emails from Nelly to prove just how many times he’d shown up in the dead of night on his doorstep to borrow money to pay for drugs.

Shortly after Slim’s tweets went online, Nelly stepped up to deny them: Slim had never worked as his manager, he was only a promoter with whom he had worked in the past.

Nelly also denied all allegations of drug and steroid use, said that he was not broke and insisted that Slim was just out for vengeance.

“1st if u Believe slim was my manager then this is pointless anyway! ‘I MADE SLIM’!but this is the thanx I get 4given some1 from crib a shot!” the rapper wrote on his Twitter.

“2nd don’t nothing go in this body but fish,chicken,turkey,protein,ROZAY,ciroc remy and Budweiser!!and MIKEnIKES,LONDONandSONS!!” he added, in reference to claims of drug and steroid abuse.

“3rd Ino some hoping that 4closure statement is tru but I’m sorry‘EPIC FAIL’!anytime any1 n STL wanna match deeds or pinkslips HOLLA!” Nelly further said.
