FormatFactory 2.80 with Multi-Threaded Conversion

The latest update for FormatFactory shows few entries in the change list, but the most important ones refer to multi-threaded conversion for both video and picture files. This would translate into faster processing of the data.

Apart from this, version 2.80 of the converter has added output folder selection on accept file dialog. Bug fixing in this edition refers to the aspect problem when converting image files to GIF.

FormatFactory is a versatile tool designed to help you convert to and from popular video, picture and audio types. The supported formats include MP4, 3GP, MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV and SWF as far as video is concerned. Audio support counts MP3, WMA, AMR, OGG, AAC and WAV, while images handled include JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, ICO, GIF and TGA.

It comes with built-in codecs, but it can also install the ones you have on the system. Besides converting, it also offers the possibility to watermark the results.
