Chinese company Oppo has taken the wraps off one of the most powerful smartphones soon to be available on the market, Find 7. This should be tagged as the world’s second smartphone to boast an incredible QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, after the Vivo Xplay 3S.

However, Vivo only produced around 1,000 Xplay 3S units that were sold in just a few seconds. Oppo’s Find 7 will probably be mass-produced by the Chinese company.

Even though the smartphone will go on sale in China, there’s a slight chance that Oppo may want to offer its top-tier device to Android fans all over the world.

Oppo Find 7 will be available for purchase in China in midnight black and white color options for only 3500 yuan ($565 / €405) outright. Judging by its impressive specs, Oppo Find 7 would make a great deal if it were launched globally.

The only downside of the powerful device might be the fact that it comes with Color OS 1.2, which is based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Apart from that, Oppo Find 7 is a dream come true for any Android fan. The smartphone sports a stunning 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

Another impressive feature is the fact that Oppo Find 7 is the first smartphone capable of taking 50-megapixel camera pictures.

Although the device boasts a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that features Sony’s IMX214 CMOS, due to the software included, users will be able to obtain pictures with a maximum resolution of 50MP. Oppo Find 7 also sports a 5-megapixel secondary camera in the front that features BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

According to Oppo, by taking 10 photos at the backend, the Find 7 can capture 50-megapixel pictures with the Super Zoom feature. But that’s not all, as the smartphone’s camera offers video recording in full 4K resolution and 720p 120 fps slow motion videos.

Hardware-wise, Oppo Find 7 is a beast. The device is equipped with a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 process, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM. It also comes packed with 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The phone’s 3000 mAh battery should be enough for the impressive QHD display, but Oppo has also stated that it has embedded a fast recharging technology, so users will be able to charge it up to 75% in only 30 minutes.
