One cannot help but wonder what Minecrafters are going to pull off next

Minecraft users never cease to amaze the gaming world with their unfettered creativity, and just when you think things can't get more ridiculous, you get some guys building Denmark inside the game.

It wasn't a hyperbole or anything, a pair of Danish Minecraft players have literally built Denmark inside the game, a full scale, 1:1 recreation of the entire country, based on the data collected by the Danish GeoData Agency.

Simon Kokkendorf and Thorbjørn Nielsen are the two insanely dedicated individuals who managed the incredible feat, creating the entirety of Denmark out of 4 billion blocks. Their creation comprises 1TB of data in total, and sprawls across three servers.

So, if you've never been to Denmark, you now have a more interactive alternative to Google Maps. If you want to pay their servers a visit, you can, and you can also choose to download Denmark in 10km by 10km pieces.

This is definitely a step in the weird direction, since someone recreated the entire island of Manhattan in Minecraft. We're patiently waiting for the entire Earth, after which there will be enormous pressure to colonize another planet so Minecraft users have something else to build.

Crazy stunts such as this one show why the game is so popular, with over 35 million units sold as of February and the PS Vita and PS4 versions coming in Q2/Q3 2014.
