Hi Dow Massage Mouse - Looks a Little bit Crappy...

As long as there is no Hello Kitty involved, animal-shaped electronics are always a nice addition to your gadget kit.

This rather silly Massage Mouse is nothing super complicated. It gets powered by 9V battery and can double as a relaxing massage instrument. All the devices from its series were developed by the Chinese Hi-Dow company to be a wild combination of a regular massage tool and an optical computer mouse. In addition to the regular massage mouse, the makers have also developed the Optical Massage Mouse.

Besides acting like an ordinary peripheral, the Optical mouse can be easily connected to the USB port and does not require any batteries at all. Besides that, for extra pleasure, it offers multiple sensation selections. Still, be careful! Using scented massage oil for greater effect is not quite recommended.

The Optical Mouse features 800 CPI high resolution and a sampling rate of 6500 fps, which makes it not exactly a state-of-the art peripheral. And forget about using this for professional gaming. It's not going to happen.

Another interesting edition of this charming gizmo is the Massage Mouse II, which features almost the same stuff as the regular model, but comes in smaller sizes. And since its dimensions are convenient ones, the funny item comes with a string that can be hung on the neck for easier carrying. It uses three different power supplies: built-in battery, computer (via USB) and AC power.

Should you bother to check out the company's portfolio, you'd also notice the Massage XP, which is not a mouse, but a Chinese acupuncture treatment device with an integrated microprocessor. The XP system can stimulate up to 4 massage sensations such as: tapping, grabbing, kneading and random. To allow users to verity the precise status of the time, the mode and the intensity of the massage, the makers have integrated a small LCD screen display.

You might also like to know that the treatment time, strength and modes can be easily set and adjusted. In case you're wondering, all Massage Mouse models come in blue and silver color options. As for the pricing and availability details, the devices can be purchased online and has different price tags, depending on how many things you want to do with each of them...not many I suppose!
