Leaving messages for the loved ones on the fridge door is something very common around the world, and the famous PostIts are the the typical media employed for such "operations". However, the biggest problem with these messages is that they generally don't have any eye-catching features that will seriously draw other people's attention,
which means that they'll often simply be ignored by the very persons that are supposed to be reading them.
Nevertheless, it would seem that there's a solution to this problem already available on the market, namely Lighted Message Board, presented by the people over at Expert Verdict, which certainly improves the "readability" level of any message by drawing the user's attention with several funky lights.
The device works in a rather simple manner, actually. The user has to write on the acrylic notice board with one of the 2 special pens provided, then switch on the LED lights. At that particular moment, the message will look just as you can see in the photo, which means that it will be rather difficult to ignore (we have to admit that, generally, our attention is more likely to be drawn by colorful and blinking things than plain, unattractive ones).
Furthermore, the Lighted Message Board offers several lighting modes, namely single or multi-color, while the user can also customize the pattern of the lights (either changing or blinking). The board can be hung on the wall like a picture, is powered either directly from the mains or by 3 x AAA batteries and provides quite a generous amount of space for the user's messages, since it measures around 31 x 24 x 1.6cm.
The Lighted Message Board retails for around 40 US dollars, which isn't that bad a price to pay for such a funky, reusable and perhaps even useful device.
