As years go by and no fourth installment for the 'Indiana Jones' series is coming along, the interview that its star gave on occasion of the Rome Film Festival brings new hope to fans all over the world.
Although hit filmmakers Steven Spielberg and George Lucas have talked the project over and over again for the past ten years, there is still no final draft of the script for 'Indiana Jones 4'.
But the man who made the series such a hit, Harrison Ford, says that his age would be no impediment for the action-packed movie, should the script be finalized. Speaking on the red carpet at Rome, Ford promised his fans that, even if he's 64, they will get to see the same daring stunts and action scenes as in the previous three installments.
Furthermore, Ford hinted that Sir Sean Connery is also likely to reprise his part as Jones' father. 'He's part of the emotional fabric of these films. I believe that Sean is still willing and I'd be delighted if he joined us. I think it's a real opportunity to make a film as successful as the ones we've made before', Ford explained.
Until now, no offer has been made to Connery as to him being again part of the project. The rest of the details are still pretty sketchy, but we'll keep you posted as other pieces of information become available.
