A little while ago, Artic Cooling released a new VGA cooling solution, which was designed to provide support for the latest high-end graphics cards from both NVIDIA and AMD. Dubbed the Accelero Twin Turbo, its design features two fans which are meant to provide an optimum cooling solution even for the highest performance graphics cards currently available. On that note, it looks like the very first cards to be equipped with the new cooler will soon be released - and they're actually based on AMD's latest high-end GPUs,
the Radeon HD 4870 and HD 4850.

The new cards will be released by AMD's Hong Kong-based board partner, Force3D. By bringing together AMD's latest Radeon card and Artic Cooling's newly arrived Accelero Twin Turbo, Force3D thus brings users one of its best offers ever in terms of performance.

The cards will be marketed under the dubbing Force3D Radeon HD 4850 and HD 4870 Black Edition w/ Accelero Twin Turbo. Unfortunately, so far, the manufacturer has failed to reveal any information regarding what kind of performance we might expect from these upcoming products, or their estimated release date or the price tag they will come with.

Despite the lack of information, we can assume that, if the new cards don't come factory overclocked, users will easily achieve high clocks by themselves with the help of the Accelero Twin Turbo. As a reminder, Artic Cooling's solution provides two 80mm fans that can spin at a maximum of 2000RPM, providing 40 CFM. It can ensure efficient heat transfer through the quad-heatpipe design, while the two 80mm fans will work at low noise levels. According to Force3D, the noise level of the Accelero Twin Turbo will be down at 0.6 sone, compared with 1.3 sone generated by the stock cooler.

As already noted above, the manufacturer did not go public with details on the pricing of the upcoming cards but, just so you get a vague idea, the Accelero Twin Turbo is set to hit store shelves at a suggested retail price of $34.95.
