Mac Game Store has announced the availability of Football Manager 2013 for the Mac, calling it the best-selling, most realistic football management game ever released for OS X.

Celebrating 20 years of games from Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2013 introduces a range of new features, such as a match engine and a manager role section in the Career mode, Classic and Challenge Modes, and Network Play.

This new version allows players to take control of any club in more than 50 countries, including all of Europe’s biggest leagues with a database of over 500,000 real-world players and staff.

According to the developers, “the 3D match engine has seen huge improvements this year.”

All right, that’s all the spoilers you get for now. The rest can be found behind the download link below. Before you jump to shell out the $49.99 (USD) / €39.99 for the game, note that it requires OS X 10.6.6, 1 GB of RAM, 2 GB of hard-disk space, and ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics.
