Developer Sports Interactive Ltd. and publisher SEGA have announced that they are preparing the latest version of the Football Manager series for launch before the Christmas of this year and that the game will come complete with about 800 all new features that are sure to satisfy even the most demanding of football fans.

The 3D match engine, one of the newest additions to the series, has been significantly changed, with better weather and more attention paid to crowds.

There are also two new cameras and the player is now better able to pause and rewind the action in order to better analyze the way his team plays and see what improvements can be made.

The transfer area of Football Manger 2012 has also been improved, with gamers now getting more options when dealing with superstar players and with new models implemented for amateur and youth contracts.

The conversation system of the management series has also received an upgrade, with players now able to choose the tone when dealing with other managers, the media and their own club employees.

The overall performance of the team linked to how well the various aspects of management are handled and the task of the player is made easier by an all new interface designed by Sports Interactive, which offers more information and quick access to the most important options while also offering a number of customization options for the hardcore players.

Miles Jacobson, who is the studio director at Sports Interactive, has stated, “We’re delighted to finally be able to start talking about Football Manager 2012. It’s another year of evolution, with some revolution thrown in for good measure so we’re pretty sure our dedicated communities, and hopefully lots of new people too, get to play and enjoy the game when it’s released later in the year.”

Football Manager 2012 does not yet have a clear launch date and will only be released on the PC.
