Sports, in general, and football, in particular, is huge in the United Kingdom. The weekly videogame chart have been dominated for the last few weeks by FIFA 10, the simulator from EA Sports, which was then displaced by Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, the rival series from Konami.

Now, football is again in the top spot but the leader is Football Manager 2010, the management simulation published by SEGA. The big disappointment of the week has been Activision's DJ Hero, which only managed to take twentieth spot in the chart.

Football Manager 2010 has taken the top position in its first week on sales but it might not last for too long up there, with the release of blockbusters like Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward and Activision coming soon alongside Assassin's Creed II from Ubisoft. Another new entry has taken second spot in the form of Wii Fit Plus from Nintendo, which intends to add more routines and better customization to the fitness experience using the Balance Board.

FIFA 10 has managed to hold on to third place, while Forza Motorosport 3 from Microsoft has slid from two to four in one week. One of the biggest drops has been that of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, which has gone from number one to five very quickly. Another new entry, Grand Theft Auto Episodes - Liberty City, lurks in sixth position, combining the content of The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony in one disc-based product, while Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games from SEGA has taken seventh spot.

The Eighth place goes to Tekken 6, the new fighting title from Namco Bandai, while Borderlands from 2K Games is at number nine, with Wii Sports Resort from Nintendo closing the top ten. The biggest drop of the week has been that of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from Naughty Dog and Sony, which went from six to twelve.
