The one-eyed baby sheep is so weak it cannot even stand on its own legs

The online community is now abuzz with the news that, not too long ago, a one-eyed baby sheep was born in Turkey. A video of the peculiar animal, which you can find embedded below, is now making rounds on the Internet.

Unfortunately, detailed information concerning the birth of this so-called cyclops lamb is very much lacking. Thus, all that is known is that the lamb was born at a farm in said country. The farm's location is yet to be revealed.

The video below shows a man – presumably the farmer whose home currently accommodates for the odd one-eyed lamb – holding the animal in his arms. At this point, the creature is wrapped in a blanket.

Just moments later, the man puts the one-eyed lamb on the ground, and encourages it to take a few steps on its own. Unfortunately, the baby sheep is not strong enough to stand on its own feet, and falls on one side.

Eventually, the farmer takes pity on the animal, and helps it stand by supporting its body with both his hands. This makes it possible for the person holding the camera to take a close-up of the strange creature and its even stranger one eye.

Not at all surprisingly, this footage ended up sparking quite a lot of controversy almost immediately after having posted online. Some viewers believe the footage is genuine. Those less trusting, on the other hand, believe it to be a hoax.

What's interesting is that, according to News, there are arguments in support of each of these two theories. Thus, there are some who claim that the creature's movements are far too like-like for the video to be a hoax.

Then again, it's not very difficult to notice that, for some reason, the alleged one-eyed lamb never blinks during this three-minute-long video. Hence, several viewers maintain that, if not the entire animal, then at least the bizarre eye must be fake.

“Seems legit, the autonomous balance correcting movements of its legs when it loses balance are extremely hard to fake and they appear to be in order,” a viewer identified as Grumpy Graebo reportedly wrote on YouTube.

“This thing isn’t blinking though, it is likely that the one eye isn’t plugged in to the brain. The tongue hanging out is indicative of skull deformation also, which correlates with it being a cyclops,” Grumpy Graebo further commented on this footage.

Fear not, the moment the existence of a one-eyed baby sheep in Turkey is confirmed, you will learn about it here. Until then, have a look at the video, and feel free to comment on whether the footage is real or a hoax in the comments section below.
