If there were a competition on who can go through an entire concert with the most gruesome injury, Enrique Iglesias couldn’t hold a candle to Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl. The rockers were performing in Gothenburg, Sweden last night and Grohl managed to seriously injure himself 2 songs into the set.

He fell off the stage and injured his right leg badly, breaking it. As you can see in the videos below, he initially told fans that he had to go to the hospital to have the leg checked out, promising them the band would return to make it up to them for the canceled gig.

Then, Foo Fighters continued to perform Dave-less for another while, until he was brought back on stage, this time on a stretcher. In the end, he didn’t go to the hospital but received medical attention backstage.

He continued the show and finished it, with his injured leg all bandaged up and propped on a chair, as he sat with the guitar in his lap.

After the show, the band tweeted a photo of an X-ray he got once he got himself to the hospital, and as you can see for yourself, he really did break his leg. He wasn’t joking about it.

At the beginning of the month, Enrique Iglesias sliced his fingers on a drone he tried to grab to show the audience his point of view from the stage. He too refused to cut the show short, getting patched up backstage and waiting until he was done to get proper medical help.

He even drew a heart in his own blood, on his white tee, for the fans. He had to have surgery on the hand afterwards.
