The GNOME developers released a new development version of the Folks library for the GNOME desktop environment, a library that aggregates people from multiple sources.

Folks (libfolks) 0.9.4 turns off fatal warnings when distchecking, and fixes a Vala binding issue, by bumping the EDS dependency to version 3.9.1 or higher.

Folks 0.9.4 adds the PresenceDetails.client_types API, adds the 'client_types' Individual property, and introduces the new 'client_types' Tpf.Persona property.

This release of the Folks library also fixes build issues with FolksTelepathy-0.6.gir, GISCAN TpLowlevel-0.6.gir and EDS backend, repairs the backend support libraries to correctly set the GIR version and namespace, and exposes VoIP/chat service client types.

Folks 0.9.4 depends on libebook 1.2 to 3.9.1 and libebook-contacts 3.9.1 or higher. For more details, please check the official raw changelog.
