14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Focusrite has announced the availability of a new firmware package targeted at its RedNet 6 MADI bridge device, namely version 582, which fixes some clock-related issues encountered by the unit.
Specifically speaking, this release resolves the problem where corrupt MADI would be sent when the RedNet 6 SRC was set to Word Clock input, and the one where the product couldn’t retain the clock source selection when performing a restart.
As for installing this package, get the downloadable .dnt file, open RedNet Control, select the “Firmware Update…” button from the virtual RedNet 6 device panel, and choose the firmware file you have just downloaded.
