Flycell, a leading mobile and online media and entertainment company has launched Flycell 2.0, a new digital entertainment destination that is meant to provide users with various content over multiple media platforms. The website and wap portal are packed with new features and offer exclusive and original
on-demand video programming, high-quality MP3 ringtones and interactive applications.

According to Flycell's CEO, Alberto Montesi, the company has signed an agreement with Universal Music group through which ringtones and other content featuring UMG artists are to be made available to users through the Flycell digital entertainment destination.

The content will be available for users that subscribe to Flycell's 'Club Pack' that brings all digital entertainment together in one package and for only $9.99 a month, any customer will receive 20 credits for purchasing any content that can be used both online and on a mobile phone.

"Flycell has established itself as a premier mobile entertainment company over the past two-plus years, building a strong customer base and growing our sales to over $45 million," said Mr. Montesi. "We are now taking the company to the next level, applying the expertise we developed in the complex mobile industry to provide an optimal, integrated, digital entertainment experience for our Generation Y audience to enjoy across all new media platforms."

Flycell's main audience is composed out of 14-25 year olds, thus it has been designed to appeal to that type of young user, coming with a slick look that is also easy to navigate and user-friendly. A feature called 'Locker' will allow subscribers to store all downloaded items for future use. Which means that if the content on the phone is for some reason lost, the Locker will serve as a back-up function.
