The Black Eyed Peas are putting themselves up for an auction that will benefit the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research in Australia. The bid will also offer one fan the chance to fly with the bandmembers, listen to BEP music and, at the same time, watch them set two world records, as the eBay listing informs.

The Black Eyed Peas are aiming to set two new records: one for the highest live performance and the other for the highest track recording. The fan who wins the bidding will be witness to both, while also winning two greet & meet and attending a Peas concert, full expenses paid. The only thing those interested in the auction have to do is to make sure they get to Los Angeles on their own, wherefrom they’re to board a plane to Australia.

“From September 26 to October 3, bid on exclusive packages for this once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Black Eyed Peas! Fly from Los Angeles on V Australia, Richard Branson’s newest international airline, to Australia on October 6. Upon arrival, spend the day in Melbourne then board a Virgin Blue private jet to Perth with the Black Eyed Peas on October 9. You will be part of 2 world record attempts: highest altitude live performance, as well as recorded track. After your exclusive in-flight Black Eyed Peas performance, the Mile High karaoke party begins. In Perth you’ll holiday for 2 nights at the Mercure Perth and attend the Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D World Tour at Burswood Dome on Saturday, October 10. The V Australia flight crew will want to hear all the details on your return flight to Los Angeles on Sunday, October 11.” the eBay listing says.

The roundtrip and hotel tickets will be included in the prize for the winning bid, but those interested have to pay their own ticket to Los Angeles, as well as their stay there. It will all be for a good cause, though, aside from the wonderful opportunity of meeting and partying with the Peas. The bidding has begun: for more information, please refer here.

“Funds raised by the auction will benefit the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research in Australia, payable through the University of Western Australia in America. The Telethon Institute for Child Health Research’s mission is to improve and to promote the health and well-being of all children through the unique application of multidisciplinary research.” it is further said on eBay.
