Fly has released the SL500i mobile phone especially designed for women. They colored it pink and set it loose to respond to the need for fashion and modern look that ladies might have.

It looks like producers made great efforts to cram all the features which might seem appealing to women. Aside from the fact that it comes in a mild pink, this is a slider phone, which gives it one of the most modern and popular designs available at this moment. It is more of a statement phone model, so don't expect anything out of the ordinary to stand out with this device.

The display screen that this phone comes equipped with is not one of the largest ones and manages to deliver only a 176 x 220 pixel resolution. Its sizes are not extremely small, as it measures 16.2 mm in thickness.

Fky SL500i has a 1.3 megapixel camera included which will manage to bring images of an average quality. The fact that it is also capable of video recording is a plus for this mobile phone, but the quality of this type of captures can only be a very low one. One thing which might stand as a plus for it is that it has Bluetooth connectivity.

Some other media features are also included, as to provide enough entertainment for the owner. The phone also and an MP3 player included and has 2 pre-installed games. There is 60 MB of space available to do that, although no mention about a memory expansion slot, which is always highly useful.

Why mobile phones especially designed for women must be pink at all times is rather a stereotype. In fact, this might be one of the reasons for them selling so poorly. The other is that they rely only on appearance and less on performances.
