Fly MC100, the Music Phone That Supports Nintendo Games

With Yamaha sound quality

Fly Mobile, a UK handset manufacturer, unveiled its latest device, Fly MC100, a music phone that comes to offer a high-quality sound experience thanks to a special chip made by Yamaha,
the famous Japanese musical instruments producer.

Fly MC100 comes with an easy to use Media Player, different profiles of dimensional sound and a 3,5 mm earphone adapter included in the delivery package. The phone's Media Player supports a wide range of formats, including MP3, MIDI, WAV, AMR, AAC, IMY, MPEG4 and 3GP.

Besides being a music phone, Fly MC100 will also be a nice surprise for gamers, as it offers support for Java MIDP2.0 / CLDC1.1 and Nintendo games (NES, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color). Games can be easily set up in the phone, which offers special gaming keys, positioned in the upper part f the device.

The MC100 handset comes in a classic candybar form factor and packs additional keys for quick access to various multimedia functions. The phone measures 111.4 x 50.2 x 15 mm, weighs 106 grams and comes with a 240 x 320 pixel TFT display that supports 262,000 colors. Moreover, Fly MC100 includes a 2 Megapixel camera with digital zoom, multi-shooting and video recording.

Other features include FM radio, GPRS, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, USB, TV-out, Java MIDP 2.0, WAP 2.0, email capabilities, built-in e-book reader, MMS and EMS, embedded games and microSD card support to boost the 32MB internal memory. Fly MC100 comes with a 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery that can provide up to 5 hours of talk-time and about 330 hours of stand-by time.

Fly MC100 is available across Europe in two color versions (coffee/black and white/green) for a recommended price of 270 USD (about 182 Euro). There's no word yet about a future US availability.
