Although he is facing one of the most serious accusations in the world of cycling - using banned substances to increase his testosterone level - Floyd Landis took the time and accepted Jay Leno's invitation at the "Tonight Show" yesterday. And the result was pretty interesting, since the American rider gave yet another explanation on what could have happened with his positive drug test result.

First of all, the guests of the show didn't produce that much laughing as usual. And it was just about
right to happen like that. Leno put Landis on the spot immediately, taking it right to the point. How come the evidence is so strong and still, he continues in stating his innocence.

And Landis tried to explain Leno that the result of the drug test should not count that much in people's making a judgment about his case: "The tests and the people doing the tests would like you to believe that the only possibility is that I essentially took some drugs and that's why the test is that way".

And his next sentence gave us one more explanation for why the tests went down that way: "Now there's also the possibility, and it's an argument that has been used by other people. At this point, I don't know if it's somehow or some way I ingested something that caused the tests to be that way".

More, the American - threatened to be sued by the Quickstep boss - launched a pretty serious accusation on the CIO testers. Much like compatriot Lance Armstrong, he admitted that he feels uncertain with what happened with his urine sample after he took the test.

"And I'm beginning to wonder about this myself after the way the situation's been handled, is that after the sample leaves my hands; after I give them the sample, I don't know where it goes", concluded Landis.
