A second sinkhole opened up in Seffner, Florida, this time harming no residents

After a large sinkhole swallowed up Seffner, Florida resident Jeffrey Bush just a few days ago, demolition works have been performed to be able to reach Bush and tear down the dangerous structure.

He was sitting in his bedroom when the hole opened up under him, as I previously reported. He fell inside and, since he has not been found, he is presumed dead.

As the works on tearing down the property progress, the sinkhole is now more visible, and you can see it in the video posted above this article.

Meanwhile, a second, 12 feet (3.7 metres) round and 5 feet (1.5 metres) deep sinkhole has emerged in Seffner, just a few miles away, without causing any damages or injuries to residents.

While experts believe there is no connection between the two, the Mirror writes that Florida's porous geological bedrock is causing the phenomenon.
