A misspelling on a road sign doesn't have to be the end of the word, but one such sign features not one, but two misspellings of the name of the state.

“Florida” was spelled “Flordia” on an Interstate 95 sign in two separate spots. According to First Coast News, the marking is positioned at the turner of J. Turner Butler Boulevard and the I-95.

The sign points to the Florida State College South Campus, and that is where the first misspelling is noted. The second one is in the name of the school, the University of North Florida.

The error was attributed to a contractor in Arkansas, who has agreed to change the sign free of charge. The sign had not yet been displayed by the Florida Department of Transportation when the mistake was spotted.
