Flockers, the brand new sheep-herding puzzle game from Team 17, is coming out on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this month.

Team 17 is the creator of the fabled Worms series of multiplayer strategy and whimsy video games, and the developer describes Flockers as a kind of "twisted blend of Lemmings-inspired gameplay and Tim Burton style macabre, all topped off with a dose of that classic Worms humor."

The game follows a group of sheep plotting a daring escape from an industrial location that is full of dangerous contraptions and perilous gizmos, and players have to guide the brave sheep, navigating to freedom around all sorts of deadly traps.

The game is currently available on Steam Early Access for PC, and represents a modern take on the classic Lemmings "get from point A to point B" style of puzzle gameplay. The game includes 60 levels (along with 6 secret ones) and challenges players to guide the hapless sheep through the sinister and dark steampunk world they find themselves trapped in.

Flockers will reach the Xbox One and PC platforms on September 19 worldwide, with the PlayStation 4 version arriving on September 19 in Europe, and September 23 in North America. The puzzle game also has a free demo on Steam.
