Last week, Motorola and Flipkart announced that they had teamed up once again to offer Android fans and enthusiasts in Indian the possibility to get one of the best Motorola smartphones available on the market, the Moto X.

The smartphone is now available in the United States for only $400 (€285), which translates into about Rs 25,000. Unfortunately, Motorola and Flipkart have yet to confirm the retail price of the Moto X in India.

However, we do know that Flipkart will be the only retailer in India to sell the Motorola Moto X. The company managed to score another exclusivity deal on Moto X sale in India.

For those unaware, this is the second exclusivity agreement between Motorola and Flipkart, the first being the sale of Moto G in India.

The popularity of the Moto G and the way Flipkart handled its sales in India was probably the decisive factor that Motorola decided to bring the Moto X as fast as possible.

We expect the Motorola Moto X to go on sale in India by the end of March, but the smartphone is likely to be more expensive than its sibling in the United States.

Anyway, just like in Moto G’s case, Flipkart will offer special deals for those who purchase the Motorola Moto X. There will probably be around 6 interesting offers that Moto X buyers will be able to take advantage of, and Flipkart promised to reveal them during this week.

Well, the first two have just been published on the retailer’s website and promise Moto X buyers that if they purchase the smartphone via EMI, they will receive Rs 1,000 ($16 / €12) cashback.

In addition, Flipkart confirms that Moto X buyers will receive a flat 70% discount on Moto X cases, which should make more customers buy the device.

These are not all the launch day offers that Flipkart plans to make available for Moto X buyers, as the retailer promises that more will be unveiled in the next couple of days.

Motorola Moto X will be available at Flipkart in five color options and two wood-back options. According to Flipkart, only the 16GB model will be available for purchase at launch, but depending on sales, it might stock the 32GB version at a later date.

It is also worth mentioning that the Moto X will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box in India, so there’s no need to wait for an update to become available.
