14 DAY TRIAL // Flipkart has already confirmed that it will sell the Motorola Moto G in India, but the online retailer has avoided any details on the smartphone’s exact release date.
Motorola Moto G is expected to be officially introduced in India tomorrow, February 5, and the US-based company has also stated that it will reveal full details on the handset’s availability and pricing options.
Until then, Flipkart has teased some of its promotions aimed at customers who plan on picking the Moto G from its official retail channels.
We have already reported or the first three promotional offers that will be available with each Motorola Moto G purchase via Flipkart, but for those who have yet to read our previous article, here is a short recap.
The first special offer consists of a coupon worth Rs 500 that can be used on any eBook purchase. Secondly, customers who purchase the Motorola Moto G device are also eligible for a Rs 1,000 coupon for clothing orders worth Rs 1,001 and above.
Lastly, Flipkart said that it would provide customers who acquire the Moto G with a 70% discount on “colorful covers.” The smartphone’s back cover is exchangeable, so those who wish to customize it can grab different backs at a reduced price.
Today, the Indian retail announced its fourth and most important promotional offer for the launch of the Moto G in India. According the Flipkart, no less than 100 customers who plan on purchasing the smartphone will receive the Motorola Moto G for free.
There’s no mention of how these customers will be able to win the Moto G, but the retailer does mention that the lucky winners will receive the full amount of the smartphone’s value in store credit.
Flipkart has also confirmed that the wallet credit you might win by purchasing the Motorola Moto G can only be used for “pre-paid purchases through a WS Retail seller.”
