14 DAY TRIAL // Flipboard has just updated its Android application with new audio features, which will allow users to combine reading with music listening.
Starting version 1.9.7, Android users will have a soundtrack that they can listen to while taking advantage of Flipboard’s features. Segments from NPR Fresh Air, PRI’s The World, and a lot more audio content is now available for Flipboard users.
Obviously, the update brings a fair share of bug fixes and performance improvements as well, but these have yet to be detailed by the developers.
Last but not least, users can now discover, like and share music from their friends thanks to the newly integrated SoundCloud service.
Flipboard 1.9.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
