Yahoo has just released another update for the popular social app Flickr for Android devices. The major update brings some important new features and improvements, which will offer users more functionality.

One of the most important new features include in the latest update is the ability to share albums via Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Mail and SMS.

In addition, with the latest version of Flickr, users will be able to edit a photo’s tags, safety level and location. All the editing can be done directly from the Info screen.

But that is not all, as the developers have confirmed they have added a brand new option that would allow users to browse other people’s profiles in justified view. The last new feature included in the update is the ability to invite a photo to a group via Groups admins.

Obviously, some bug fixes and under the hood performance improvements have been added via this update as well, but no additional details have been disclosed on any of these yet.

You can now download Flickr for Android 3.1 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the new application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
