Owners of handsets running under Google's Android operating system now have the option to download and install the official Flickr application on their devices.
The new
software was just made available through the
Android Market for Android 2.1 and newer devices, with features that include the ability to share photos with friends, easy privacy settings, full screen browsing and slideshows, and more.
The Flickr app for
Android also provides users with the possibility to add titles, descriptions, comments and tags to a photo, or to geotagg an image.
There are also filters included with the application, so that users can alter the photos taken with the in-app camera, not to mention the option to easily share these photos on Facebook or Twitter.
Uploads to Flickr are also available, with access to organizational tools, photo apps, and more.
