Yahoo has unveiled an all-new version of its photography app Flickr, which sports a fresh look and feel, new features – like advanced editing –, and helpful tips for everyone looking to capture the world in HD.

“Welcome to Flickr 3.0! We have completely rebuilt and redesigned the app to make it simple, beautiful, and easy to use,” reads Yahoo’s promise.

The redesigned app lets users capture everything much easier and store all photos in one place, complete with advanced editing features: “Gorgeous live filters. Powerful editing tools. All for free,” says the web giant.

The app also comes with valuable tips for newcomers, but also existing users. Using detailed info-screens, users learn how to capture HD video and share a brilliant world to Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter, insights into the new editing tools (Levels, Crop, Color Balance, Contrast, Saturation), how to follow the world’s best photographers, how to tweak privacy settings, etc.

Users get 1TB of free storage, meaning they’ll never incur the hassle of having to relocate their photos for fear of running out of space.

Download Flickr 3.0 on any iDevice running iOS 7.0, such as iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, or iPod touch fifth generation.
