Flatout: Ultimate Carnage is the third game in the Flatout demolition racing franchise, developed by Bugbear Entertainment, published by Empire Interactive and distributed
by Vivendi Universal Games. The Xbox 360 version of the game was released on the 1st of August 2007 in Europe and the 2nd of November 2007 in North America. Flatout: UltimateCarnage is basically a remake of the Flatout 2 game.
"Street racing games are all about pimping your ride with spoilers, fat rims and whatevers," said Jussi Laakkonen, business development director for Bugbear Entertainment, about the game. "FlatOut on the other hand is all about action. So when FlatOut does street racing, we do it with the sole purpose of wrecking those pimped up rides to unrecognizable lumps of charred metal."
