Its deal with Fox will provide 4K content for them to stream

Samsung had to carve out a deal with Fox for the broadcast of TV content in 4K resolution, Ultra High Definition as it were (3840 x 2160 pixels), but it got it, which means that buyers of TVs with support for that image quality won't have to settle for upscaling technology.

On that note, Samsung should soon start selling its UHD TVs, both curved and flat models.

All of them should have the upgraded Smart Hub software installed, allowing users to stream video or watch live TV, or do both, especially since some TVs should have PIP (picture-in-picture) and PBP (Picture-by-Picture) support.

Quad-core CPUs run the TVs, or at least the best of them. ARM processors to be precise.

The only thing missing from the newest lineup will be OLED TVs, but we suppose even LG can get to have an advantage once in a while. Then again, not many people will buy OLED Smart TVs, given their price.

Speaking of which, Samsung's TVs will be sold for as little as $2,500 / €1,800 – 2,500. In the photo below, you can see the remote control that should ship with the newcomers.

Screen sizes will go from 55 inches to 78 inches, though that last one will come later this year, with a price of $8,000 / €8000 Prices. The 9000 series will stand at the summit. Check out your local retailers in case they've already appeared, on pre-order if not yet shipping.
