Dreaming of running in the rain barefoot? Hold on! The Five Fingers glove-like shoes are the first (yet not the only one anymore) footwear that mimics barefoot walking. The light tickling Five Fingers shoe is designed to follow the contours of your feet and toes in order to make you feel the natural walking motion.

The shoe comes in 3 flavors: Classic, Sprint and Surge. The FiveFingers Classic is suited for trekking, travel, Chi running, fitness training, Yoga, Pilates, sailing and boating. Its special sole is made to give you a serious grip over a variety of terrains. It features a thin, abrasion-resistant stretch polyamide fabric that fits low on the foot (just in case you need some drying). Razor-siped soles will help you deal with slippery surfaces. Selling for 70 $, the Five Fingers Classic is the cheapest model available.

The Sprint model is the most versatile of all. Hook and loop closures along the heel and instep will provide you a nice and secure fit. It uses the same stretch and the same rubber razor-siped sole. They're perfect for hiking, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and surfing. It's priced at 80$.

The FiveFingers Surge was developed for use for a variety of water sports. It features a 1.2 mm neoprene lining (the world standard in thermal insulation for in-water activities). Three adjustable closures will give you safe passage through fast moving water. The Surge comes with the same rubber razor-siped sole. This one sells for 100$.

Apparently, all 3 versions are suited for Yoga, Pilates, Sailing, Boating, Pose Method or Chi running. Five Fingers is also touted as a stress-releasing shoe. Maybe this will make city people understand the "countryside trend" that promotes barefoot walking and running.
