The DivX team celebrated Saturday five years since the introduction of the wonder codec.
But DivX.com thought that a party wouldn't be enough for expressing their joy, so they've decided to offer DivX Create Bundle for Windows free-of-charge. Normally, the application would cost $19.99.
The official announcement was signed by Jerome Rota, Co-Founder & DivX Guru, who said that the entire team agreed to this decision. There was one person who didn't
agree and that was the web store manager. The team hopes he will be able to untie himself and break out of the storage locker. (This measure was probably taken to prevent him from witnessing the "carnage" that will take place on the site).
So, if you want to download DivX Create Bundle for Windows free-of-charge, you should hurry-up because the offer is only valid today. To download the free version, visit the official anniversary page,

Perhaps in 100 years from now, Microsoft will also release a free-of-charge Windows version.
