Users can correct the problems by updating the operating systems

Canonical announced on March 27th, in three different security notices, that new vulnerabilities were found in the Linux kernel packages, this time affecting its Ubuntu 11.04, Ubuntu 10.10, and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS distributions.

The following four Linux kernel vulnerabilities affect the Ubuntu 10.10 and Ubuntu 11.04 operating systems: CVE-2011-4347, CVE-2012-0045, CVE-2012-1097, and CVE-2012-1146.

The following Linux kernel vulnerability affects the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS operating system: CVE-2012-0879.

The security flaws can be fixed if you upgrade your system(s) to the linux-image-2.6.32-40-generic 2.6.32-40.87) package(s) for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, the linux-image-2.6.38-13 (2.6.38-13.57) for Ubuntu 11.04, and the linux-image-2.6.35-32-generic (2.6.35-32.67) package(s) for Ubuntu 10.10.

Don't forget to reboot your computer after the upgrade!
