The Intel USB 3.0 Driver, version 2.0.0.100, is compatible with the B85FL, DH87MC, DH87RL, DQ87PG, and DZ87KLT-75K desktop boards that run under Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system (both bit variants).

The package installs the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller, Root Hub, and Host Controller Switch drivers, the Monitor feature, as well as the USB 3.0 debug scripts.

As for installing the driver, this can be done in two ways via the Installer: a normal one and a silent one. Neither method is recommended to be initiated from an external USB drive (either hard drive or thumb drive).

The easiest way, and recommended as well, is the normal method. It requires that you locate the “Setup.exe” file, run it as an administrator, and go like this: Next (at the Welcome Screen), Yes (for the License Agreement), and Next (at the Readme File) – at this point the installation is started.

When the process is finished, you will be prompted with a dialog screen where you will be asked if you want to reboot the system at that time or not – bear in mind that until the device is restarted, the driver’s version will not be 2.0.0.100.

To verify the USB 3.0 version, go to Device Manager → Universal Serial Bus controllers → Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller → Driver (Tab), and the actual version will be displayed in the Driver Version field.

That said, follow the link below and download the Intel’s USB 3.0 driver.
