An angler has caught more than fish on his last trip to the Black River in Wisconsin. 31-year-old Joshua Woods, of La Crosse, caught a treasure hidden in the river – a wallet stolen three years ago.

He tells Good Morning America how he was able to find the former owner by posting his name, middle initial included, on Facebook. The owner was a La Crosse resident and three people were able to identify him.

Former owner Jesse Gomez reveals that there's a story behind the stolen wallet. It was taken away from him in a club where he was DJ-ing, and the robbers got away with his entire month's pay and maxed out his credit cards.

Gomez has pressed charges but, to this day, he is still struggling to get his credit report back to normal.
