One 70-year-old fisherman named Ron Ifield is now friends with a seagull which simply decided to follow him home after the two spent some quality time together during a fishing trip.

Apparently, Herbert the seagull decided that Ron would become its bestie after the man fed it some fish and even allowed it to gulp down some tea. The two met on Ron's boat and are now living together in the town of Rochester, in Kent, England.

“I fed him with the odd bit of fish and he stayed on the boat for about four hours. He was hungry. He even went in the wheel house and got onto my bunk and started drinking my tea. I have been sailing for 40 years and I’ve never had anything like it before,” Ron told members of the press.

For the time being, the fisherman is still a tad confused with respect to how the seagull managed to locate his mobile home amongst the numerous others which are to be found in this part of England.

“I’ve no idea how he found our mobile home, it’s about 400 yards from my boat but as soon as he saw me by my home he started squeaking and recognized me,” Ron says.
