The Lenovo Yoga tablet is one of the company’s flagship products that can be easily recognized by anyone following tech these days.

The 2-in-1 device can be used both as a tablet and laptop and runs Windows 8.1 out of the box. All that is neat and swell, but the Yoga sells for quite a hefty price tag. If this aspect is a turn off for you, you might want to look into the direction of Firstview.

This little-known company is currently offering the Android counterpart of the Lenovo Yoga, complete with the orange paint job. The S1162 is a tablet/notebook 2-in-1 arriving with an 11.6-inch display and a quad-core processor under the hood.

The laptop isn’t currently available in retail, but according the ARM Devices,it should start selling for as little as $199 / €148.

This is certainly a lot less than the Lenovo Yoga sells for, but before getting all worked up, let’s see what you’ll be getting for this money. The S1162 arrives with an 11.6-inch touchscreen offering the same bland resolution present on laptops (1366 x 768 pixels).

Power comes from a Rockchip ARM Cortex-A9 processor fitted with 1GB of RAM. Other specifications include 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SD card slot, three USB ports, mini HDMI, and a frontal camera.

On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga offers the same resolution but draws power from an Intel Core i5-4202Y processor with integrated Intel HD graphics fitted with up to 4GB of DDR3L.

Surely, the Rockchip won’t be a match for the Intel i5 inside the Yoga, but if you’re just looking to use the convertible for lighter work and you like the 360-degree system, the cheaper Android variation might be what you need.

Firstview says that this is an Ultrabook, but since the category was developed by Intel and there’s no processor of the sort inside the product, the description is pretty inaccurate. The device is relatively sleek, weighing 3.3 lbs. / 1.4 kg and being 0.6 inches / 1.5 cm thick, so it might be considered portable enough to be a part of the above-mentioned category.

Of course, the lappy has the Yoga 360-degree twisting around system that allows users to fold the keyboard behind the keyboard, turning the laptop into an Android tablet.

Last but not least, we should mention an odd aspect about the Firstview Yoga. Despite running Android out of the box, it has a Windows button under the screen. Super strange.
