Microsoft announced last week that it would start delivering updates for all Windows 8 built-in apps this week, so users started receiving new versions of the SkyDrive tool this morning.

First of all, the company redesigned the search option, so it really works this time, letting you look for files by simply clicking on the “Search” Charms in the right section of the screen.

In addition, the app boasts a new first-run experience, but it also allows its users to rename and move folders and files stored in their account.

The updating procedure is as easy as it could be, so users are only required to open the Windows Store and hit the “Update” button.

A small notification should appear on the Windows Store live tile whenever the update is ready to be delivered to your computer.
