First Wheelman Screens Released, Impressive

Midway seems to have started the Spring marketing spree, since it keeps throwing goodies to us - we first had the official confirmation of the new Mortal Kombat game, This is Vegas' website follow up and now the company is bringing some fresh new screenshots and information about their Vin Diesel game, Wheelman. And we must say that we are impressed - if the gameplay is as good as the screenshots, we'll have to thank Midway a million times for everything.

While you can enjoy the first ever released screenshots checking the thumbnails below, you should know some things about the game itself, since it really wants to get big and offer some quality time. We will be taken on a white knuckle thrill ride that unfolds throughout the streets of Barcelona. Featuring car chases inspired by Hollywood's most famous action-sequences, Wheelman will deliver powerful cinematic moments throughout the game's compelling storyline and allow us to control one of the most renowned action movie actors of present times - Vin "xXx" Diesel. Like the other two Midway titles mentioned at the beginning, Wheelman is scheduled to ship to stores this fall.

The game's story presents us Vin Diesel as the Wheelman, an undercover agent and a highly skilled driver who must infiltrate Barcelona's underground and gather information surrounding a covert heist. Of course, he will eventually get caught in the middle, surrounded by corruption and chaos, while trying to stay one step ahead of local law enforcement and rival gangs. But with the help of your personal skills, he will succeed.

However, if being Vin Diesel in a "living, breathing city" where intense vehicle combat and high-def cinematic stunts are a way of living is not enough for you, you can always create your own character and go online with your friends for team-based missions where you will be able to show to the world your mad driving skills. The game will be released for Xbox 360s, PS3s and PCs.
