Thermaltake turns to water cooling

Cooling devices producer Thermaltake was always pretty good at developing new cooling technologies. The hard part that seems to pose problems to them is that it generally takes a lot of time to obtain an efficient implementation based upon what they've learnt. This time though, it may be a different thing since Thermaltake has shown at Gitex their first ever water cooled memory stick.

Using a Kandalf system Thermaltake managed to obtain the impossible; a single-slot memory DIMM water-cooling unit. The headspreader is classical, with the water cooling pipe coming over the DIMM and exiting a little lower than the entrance point but still higher that the module itself.

The fact that it's a single slot device makes it attractive to overclockes who need their space. I however would like to see the device from Thermaltake come separate from the memory module. Versatility is good especially when you can choose on which stick you want to mount the cooling device. Especially since some chips run hotter than others but they also overclock better.
