“Transformers 4” takes places years after the events in “Dark of the Moon,” when Autobots and Decepticons are hardly ever present on Earth. A new type of danger looms, and it will be up to Wahlberg to save the day.
The film is meant to be the foundation of a new trilogy, separate from the Shia LaBeouf-centered one, and drops in theaters in 2014.
