As rumored a while back, famed Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood and his family are the new stars of an upcoming E! reality series. The first trailer for it is below, embedded at the end of the article.

Despite earlier claims that the new show would focus more on Dina Eastwood, Clint's wife, her daughters and her business endeavors, including an all-male band called Overtone (hence the “company” in the name of the new show), the first footage also includes Clint.

The star is seen in at least two separate shots in the teaser trailer: he's kissing his wife in one and having fun with friends in another.

“Some Hollywood families live for fame. This one lives to let live. Some adopt an attitude. This one adopted a band. Some live for the spotlight. This one lives a million miles away. Mrs. Eastwood & Company. Coming this May. Only on E!” the narrator says of the new show.

That might not be entirely accurate: it's true that the Eastwoods could do without the extra spotlight, but just as true is that Clint's daughters want a career in showbiz that would not have to rely on their last name, as word online has it.

The same goes for Dina, his wife.

In fact, that's how this new series came to be, and various reports indicate that the family might have even forced Clint's to get him to appear on it by emotionally blackmailing him.

“Clint’s an extremely private guy and hates the idea of having TV crews around the house, peering into their everyday lives. After a lot of arm-twisting, Clint finally agreed. But he said he would only appear in a few cameos, at the very most,” a spy was telling the US tabs a while back, as we also informed you.

Because there was no other way around it, Clint agreed but only on the condition that he would not have to appear on the show more than a handful of times – and then too just briefly.

“Clint’s wife and daughters begged him to do it, so what could he say? They wore him down. It’s clear who wears the pants in his family!” the insider added.
