One of the projects that Johnny Depp has spent years obsessing over is the '60 supernatural soap opera “Dark Shadows,” so he teamed up with longtime collaborator Tim Burton and they made a film based on it.

The first official trailer for it is now out and, as usual, you can see it in full above.

Boasting a stellar cast and the now trademark Tim Burton atmosphere, the film sees Johnny Depp as a vampire (no, he doesn't sparkle), who returns from the dead to claim his house and his fortune.

The witch who made him a vampire (Eva Green) still lives, though – and she's still not over her crush, so she won't stop until she gets him to fall in love with her.

The film also stars Chloe Moretz, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonny Lee Miller, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Bella Heathcote, and Gulliver McGrath.

It will be out in theaters on May 11, so make sure you check out the trailer to see if it's something you should keep an eye out for.
