14 DAY TRIAL // Another one of Stephenie Meyer's novels is about to hit the big screen as a feature film and, this time, it doesn't involve teen romance and sparkly vampires. The first teaser trailer for “The Host” is now out.
Meyer might be known mostly for her 4 novels that have been turned into the money-making machine “The Twilight Saga,” but she's also very popular for her “The Host.”
Set in an ideal world where aliens have fused themselves with humans to eradicate all that was wrong to our society, the book (and the film) tells the story of one woman and how she realizes what has happened to create this “more than perfect” society.
“The Host” is directed by Andrew Niccol, stars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, William Hurt and Diane Kruger, and will be out in theaters on March 29, 2013.
