The “Wolverine” sequel fans have been waiting for for so long is still more than a year away, but here's something to make the wait more bearable: the first teaser poster for the film has leaked online.

Click on the image above to see it.

The photo, uncovered by ScreenRant, could be the first one-sheet for the film, though 20th Century Fox is yet to confirm it's the real deal.

It shows the Japanese flag slashed (it was Wolverine, you can tell) and the tagline “Rising Soon.”

“The Japanese words for 'Japan' are Nippon (most commonly used) and Nihon which translate to 'Land of the Rising Sun,' hence the design Japan’s national flag and the tagline in the teaser poster reading 'rising soon',” ScreenRant explains.

The film, which is the follow-up for the box office disappointment “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” is scheduled for release on June 26, 2013.

If the poster is legit and has leaked, it's clear that Fox still has an issue with that, just like it did with the first film.
